What can I say about these men? The ride started with just one of them, David, and then there were some ups and downs but right now it’s all about these five men right here.
There’s Monty. I like to call him ‘uncle Monty’, he’s like that hilarious guy but at the same time he’s the one who cares and protects the rest. I’ve read about people who met him and everyone of them said what a great and funny guy he was. I bet he’s the best friend one could ask for.
Devin. The ‘new’ guy, as horrible as that may sound but there’s something about Devin that, since he came to the band, made him look as if he were with the guys from the very beginning. I’ve read in his official website some things about his previous and current work. I was in awe reading all the collaborations and jobs this man has had. The man knows what’s he’s doing. And hell he does it so freakin’ well. I like the energy he puts on stage, I highly recommend you to watch an entire video of the cover they did of Dogman just looking at him. You can really see how much he enjoys playing that damn guitar.
Andy, or as everyone likes to call him: Skibby. He rocks. To begin with, he should be a worldwide known rockstar, goddammit. His voice and talent with the guitar and the piano are what this world needs to hear. Secondly, he has the sweetest face expressions in the world. Cutest. human. being.
Kyle. He blows me away with his drumming. The kid is also one of the most inspiring people, just read his tweets and you’ll know what I mean.
Last, but certainly not least, David. I have no words to express what he means to me. Despite the physical attraction that is obvious, I love his soul and heart. If I weren’t his fan and didn’t know him, and someone came to tell me what a humble, sweetheart, amazing human being he is, I would probably not believe it. I mean, c’mon, it’s really hard to find a man like him in this industry. The most important thing is that I know, believe me I know, he won’t change even if he becomes super famous. He’s going to be the same man who loves watching movies and sleep and who doesn’t give a crap if he needs to cry and there’s an audience watching him. I love him for being that Mr. Sensitive we’ve seen through out all this time. He has no idea how much it hurts to be this far away and not being able to go to his shows and meet him. I just have the need to let him know all the amazing things he makes me feel. He’s not perfect, but he is just one step ahead from all those ”artists” that the industry sells and people buy. The world deserves to know about his and this band’s talent.
There’s a Cook Revolution going on, which was started by the Argentinian fans. If you’re one of the thousands of people who were lucky enough to be able to attend at least one of his shows, I ask you to think about those who are still waiting to be that lucky. Join us to make some noise for him to be known in other countries. He said South America was on his bucket list, help him and us to make this come true.
Find out more about this Cook Revolution here and here. (Ask to join the FB group and you’ll be added)
